Our search for a dog started with visits to dog shows and learning about the characteristics of the different breed. We wanted our dog to have good character so that we could trust it and have no conflict with our children. It turned out miracles do happen and we stumbled upon a beautiful but rare breed in Poland, the Hungarian Vizsla.

It was supposed to be a dog...

Searching for our dog we found the Czech breeder MERYBEN, a terrific musher and breeder of Hungarian Vizsla Jaroslava Sajbota. He has handled the Vizsla at many international championships with great success. He convinced us to make a small adjustment to our plans. Instead of a dog, our home greeted the female DINA MERYBEN, which we named GRAPPA.

Later everything ran its own course, excellent ratings at shows, field trials passed at the first try with a 1 class diploma and finally our decision to register the kennel name RUDY NOS. We are a typical small home breeder, with a household consisting of five people. We think that this great breed should be popularized among dog lovers looking for a trusted companion with good psyche, beautiful build and for hunters looking for a dog that is devoted to its work. We will try to do this as well as is possible.
